We are presently based in South Africa working on that difficult second album and getting a band together down here for some gigs. Once we have some dates, we will let you know. We are hoping to come back to the UK in around July for a small tour.

Debut album released in 2005

Our debut album, Bambelela, completed at the end of 2004, was released on 13th May 2005 on Discovery Records (www.discovery-records.com). Check out the ‘Music’ page for details and some samples of the tracks on the album.

Glastonbury 2005

Last year we were very happy to announce that we won the Glastonbury Unsigned Bands Competition for 2005 in the Jazz/World Section. After hundreds of entries, Moya was one of six finalists selected and invited to perform at Pilton Working Men's Club in March. At the end of the night, the judges were unanimous - Moya were the winners and we were invited to perform on the Jazz World Stage at Glastonbury. A fantastic opportunity - shame about the rain!
